Instead of building and maintaining a user interface to TC; core devs have only ever outsourced it. 

Additionally, by prioritising affiliate fees from the start, an open ecosystem of interfaces have been built who seek their own income streams.  

TC core focus is on "Dev UX" - build the best possible experience for wallet developers, leaving the wallet teams to solve UI/UX and maintain relationships with users. 

Today there are over 45 apps/services that build on THORChain, and more come every week. 

This means
1) Impossible to take down every TC interface (decentralised UIs)
2) Global reach into many markets and user-bases
3) Laser focus on core protocol features (Savers, Lending etc)
4) Pervasive and resilient qualities to the ecosystem

TC is a project that "did it right", even though it was and still is hard. There were no shortcuts taken, and the vision and principles of the project were adhered to from the start.
