New Discord Announcement from THORChain Devs #🚨thornode-mainnet ## Ethereum Scanning Auto Halt There is logic around cancel transactions which incurs a slash to correct the vault balance and account for the gas cost of the cancel transaction. There is also logic to automatically halt a chain when there is a slash over a certain threshold - currently set to 100 RUNE. The combination of a severe spike in Ethereum gas price and simultaneous drop in RUNE price caused a few cancel transactions to auto-halt the Ethereum scanner. Devs will consider improvements to the logic, but in the meantime suggest a mimir vote to increase the `PauseOnSlashThreshold` from 100 RUNE to 500 RUNE to reduce likelihood for disruption. ``` make mimir ``` ``` PauseOnSlashThreshold => 50000000000 ``` @everyone
